Rossendale Borough Council’s Brad Hacking
During the pandemic, Rossendale BC employed a new Business Adviser, Brad Hacking.
Brad has spent time getting to know the local Rossendale Business owners, with particular emphasis on researching business needs. During this time, a number of business initiatives have been introduced to support local businesses.
As we follow the Government Road Map, Rossendale Borough Council has developed a new Business Recovery Plan.

The business recovery plan will include five key areas: People, Business, Visitor Economy, Infrastructure and Place.
During this interview Brad Hacking reveals the recovery plans, so that businesses are aware of what’s happening in Rossendale. He provides full details of support and funding available, because he wants to be transparent with business owners.
Good news – there’s more funding for businesses on the way too!

My Thoughts
Many businesses will be struggling as we journey through the road map. Dealing with the aftermath isn’t going to be easy for many of us, so I hope this helps you.
I invited Rossendale BC onto my radio show to provide direction, clarity and reassurance to local business people. I think Brad delivered this and more! Not only that, he’s making himself totally accessible to any business owner who wants his support, because they need this right now. An offer which I myself have taken. Speaking from personal experience, Brad was not only supportive, he did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it. This credibility is crucial at a time like this!
